1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
We collect only the data needed to create profiles, help people meet safely, and keep the service reliable.
- Profile data such as name, age, gender, city, church affiliation, denomination, church name, baptism year, marital status, information about children, hobbies, interests, theological views, character traits, opinions, and values.
- Photos for profile presentation, plus photos or documents submitted for verification.
- Email address for registration, authentication, and service communication.
- Approximate geolocation and IP data to determine region and show nearby matches.
- Technical and behavioral data such as clicks, page views, navigation, errors, chat starts, premium usage, and device or app version details.
- Encrypted message content between users.
- Selfie images used for identity verification when the user explicitly chooses that verification flow.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process ordinary personal data to provide the service, fulfill our agreement with the user, and maintain platform security.
Where special-category data is involved, such as religion, denomination, or facial images for verification, we rely on the user's explicit consent and use that data only for the stated purpose.
4. How we use the data
We use personal data to register users, create and maintain profiles, support communication, personalize matching, moderate content, prevent fraud, respond to support requests, and improve product quality.
Some moderation decisions can be supported by automated systems. Users may contact us to request a human review if they believe a decision was incorrect.
5. Safety, moderation, and automated checks
To protect the community, we analyze profile information, photos, and message-related signals with a combination of internal rules and trusted AI-based moderation tools.
If content appears to include nudity, weapons, harassment, hate, sexually explicit material, radical or discriminatory symbolism, or other unsafe behavior, access may be limited, suspended, or permanently removed.
Where a high-risk situation is flagged, an authorized moderator may review the relevant content manually. Access is strictly limited and moderators are bound by confidentiality obligations.
6. Data sharing with third parties
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with trusted processors and infrastructure providers that help us host, moderate, analyze, secure, and operate the platform.
Examples include Microsoft Azure, Firebase, Google Analytics, and contractors acting on our behalf under confidentiality and security obligations.
7. Storage, encryption, and retention
Data is stored using secure cloud infrastructure. Sensitive communications are encrypted before storage, and access to internal systems is tightly restricted.
Verification images and documents are deleted within 30 days after verification. When an account is deleted, personal data is removed within 90 days unless a shorter retention period is required for safety or legal reasons.
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis for processing.
You may also object to automated decision-making, request human intervention, and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
We aim to respond to valid privacy requests within 30 calendar days.
9. Age restrictions
Adam & Eva is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, it will be removed without delay.

11. Payments
Paid features are processed through secure third-party payment systems such as the App Store and Google Play. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
